The tables of Friedrich Christoph Müller (1751-1808)

Select the location from the menu list,
or enter the coordinates (decimal degrees) for the latitude, and for the longitude, click the applet first!

Check the time zone to get the correct local standard time.

The following tables can be selected from the menu:

Example 1:
Enter azimuth (East of North in decimal degrees, e.g. 150°) into the red textfield, select "Apparent Time" from the menu, and press "Write Table" to get this data window:

Example 2:
Select "Elevation AM", enter elevation (decimal degrees, e.g. 20°) into the red textfield, select "Apparent Time" from the menu, and press "Write Table" to get this data window:

"App. Solar Day" is computing the deviation of the duration of the apparent solar day (subsequent transits) from the mean solar day (unit: seconds). An apparent solar day can be up to 20 seconds shorter or 30 seconds longer than a mean solar day.
